英国专家一行访问四川省四家医院

2018年5月9日-11日，在北京华通国康公益基金会（Beijing Huatong Guokang Foundation, BHGF）的组织协调下，英国帝国理工大学附属汉姆史密斯医院麻醉科主任Parvathprasad Annamalai先生、重症监护室主任Umeer Waheed先生、体外循环主任Henry Bishop先生、心内科护士长关剑群女士一行四人分别对四川大学华西医院、成都市第一人民医院、成都市第二人民医院、四川省人民医院进行参访并做了学术交流。

 访问期间，四川大学华西医院万学红副院长、成都市第一人民医院罗俊副院长和刘耀副院长、成都市第二人民医院刘雅副院长、四川省人民医院国际合作办公室王强主任分别带领医院工作团队向英国专家介绍医院基本建设、人员构成以及医疗、教学、科研等工作情况。四家医院相关领导和英国专家均表示非常感谢BHGF为中英医学交流所做出的贡献，期望在未来能进一步加强双方的合作，开展更多的中英医学专家互访活动，促进双方在人才培养、科研教学、学科建设等方面的发展。

 英国专家一行参观了四家医院的相关科室，了解了各科室业务开展情况，并与中方医护同仁们进行病例讨论和手术方法探讨，给大家带来很多前沿医学知识和医疗技术信息。Parvathprasad Annamalai先生、Umeer Waheed先生、Henry Bishop先生、关剑群女士分别就 “Low Cardiac Output Syndrome After Cardiac Surgery” “Doctors’ Training in Intensive Care Unit in UK”“Perfusion Case Review”“UK Nursing in Brief”等主题进行了讲座，参访医院医护人员积极提问，与专家互动活跃。

 此次英国帝国理工医学专家访问四川省四家医院的学术交流活动取得了圆满成功，并得到了中英两方医护同仁的认可和好评。本次专家访问同时也是BHGF首次将国外专家以学科团队的形式邀请到派员单位进行互访，充分加强了中英医疗机构在医学领域的相互了解。BHGF将继续发挥公益性平台的优势，搭建中国医院与国际知名医疗机构的交流合作平台，通过“送出去，请进来”的双向交流方式，在高端国际人才培养和学科建设等方面为国内医院提供帮助和支持，不断提升中国医院的管理能力和服务水平。

 英国帝国理工学院（Imperial College London），又称帝国理工大学，成立于1907年，位于英国伦敦，是英国罗素大学集团成员、金砖五校之一、欧洲IDEA联盟成员，是一所享誉全球的高等学府，在2014QS世界大学排名中名列第二。帝国理工与剑桥大学、牛津大学、伦敦政治经济学院、伦敦大学学院并称为“G5超级精英大学”。帝国理工大学医院属于英国全民医保的NHS医疗服务体系,和伦敦帝国理工学院一起组成学术健康科学中心 。同属NHS医疗服务体系的哈默史密斯医院和圣玛丽医院共同成为了帝国理工学院医学院重要组成部分，旗下目前管理着五个医院:查令十字医院 ; 哈默史密斯医院 ; 夏洛特女王和切尔西医院 ; 圣玛丽医院和西方的眼科医院。

British Expert Visits Four Hospitals in Sichuan Province

 May 9-11, 2018, under the coordination of Beijing Huatong Guokang Foundation (BHGF), Mr. Parvathprasad Annamalai, Consultant Anaesthetist, Mr. Umeer Waheed, Consultant Intensive Care Medicine, Mr. Henry Charles Bishop, Chief Perfusionist, and Ms. Guan Jianqun, Head Nurse of Cardiology Department from Hammersmith Hospital of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, UK, visited the West China Hospital, Sichuan University, Chengdu First People’s Hospital, Chengdu Second People’s Hospital, and Sichuan Provincial People’s Hospital and made academic exchanges.

 During this visit, Vice President Wan Xuehong of West China Hospital, Sichuan University, Vice President Luo Jun and Vice President Liu Yao of Chengdu First People's Hospital, Vice President Liu Ya of Chengdu Second People’s Hospital, and Director Wang Qiang of International Cooperation Office of Sichuan Provincial People’s Hospital led the hospital team to introduce British experts their hospitals’ basic construction, personnel composition, and medical, teaching, and scientific research work. The leaders of the four hospitals and British experts expressed their gratitude to BHGF for its contribution to the China-UK Medical Exchange. They hope to further strengthen the cooperation between the two sides and carry out more exchange visits between Chinese and British medical experts, better promote the development of both sides’ talents training, scientific research, teaching, and discipline construction.

 The British experts visited the relevant departments of the four hospitals, better understood the profession development of various departments, discussed with the Chinese doctors and nurses on case analysis and surgical methods which brought Chinese medical workers a lot of cutting-edge medical knowledge and medical technology information. Mr. Parvathprasad Annamalai, Mr. Umeer Waheed, Mr. Henry Bishop and Ms. Guan Jianqun respectively conducted the topics of “Low Cardiac Output Syndrome after Cardiac Surgery”, “Doctors' Training in Intensive Care Unit in UK”, “Perfusion Case Review”, “UK Nursing in Brief” as well as other topics. In the lectures, visiting hospitals’ doctors and nurses proposed questions warmly and interacted actively with British experts.

 The British Imperial College medical experts’ visit in four hospitals in Sichuan Province and the academic exchange activities have achieved great success. It has been recognized and praised by both Chinese and British medical professionals. This visit is also the first time that BHGF has invited foreign experts in the form of a discipline team to Chinese hospitals which have sent emloyees abroad for receiving training from foreign experts’ working institute for mutual visits. Therefore, it has fully enhanced the mutual understanding between Chinese and British medical institutions in the medical field. BHGF will continue to take advantage of the non-profit platform and build an exchange and cooperation platform between Chinese hospitals and internationally renowned medical institutions. Through a two-way communication approach of “sending out, inviting in”, it will provide domestic hospitals with high-end international personnel training and discipline construction, offering help and support to continuously improve the management capabilities and service levels of Chinese hospitals.

 Imperial College London, also known as the Imperial College of Technology, was founded in 1907 in London, England. It is a member of the Russell University Group, one of the five BRICS schools, and a member of the European IDEA Alliance. It is a world-famous university and one of the top institutions in higher education, ranking in the second in the 2014 QS World University Rankings. Imperial College London, Cambridge University, Oxford University, London School of Economics and Political Science and University College London are also known as the "G5 Super Elite Universities." The Imperial College Hospital is part of the UK NHS Medical Services System and composes the Academic Health Science Center with Imperial College London. Hammersmith Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital, both of which belong to the NHS Medical Service System, have become an important part of Imperial College Medical School. It currently manages five hospitals: Charing Cross Hospital; Hammersmith Hospital; Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital, St Mary's Hospital and Western Eye Hospital.
