​英国专家一行访问河北省三家医院

2019年5月12日-5月18日，在北京华通国康公益基金会（Beijing Huatong Guokang Goundation, BHGF）的支持协调下，英国布莱顿和苏赛克斯大学医院医疗院长，普外科主任Dr. Krishna Kumar Singh先生、麻醉科主任医师Dr. Stephen Romesh Rasanayagam先生和小儿呼吸科主任医师Dr. Akshat Suresh Kapur先生一行分别对河北省人民医院、邯郸市中心医院、河北大学附属医院进行参访并做了学术交流。

访问期间，河北省人民医院党委副书记张新平、邯郸市中心医院院长张学强、河北大学附属医院院长张海松分别带领各自医院工作团队对英国专家的参访进行了接待，并向英国专家介绍了医院基本建设、人员构成以及医疗、科研教学等工作情况。三家医院相关领导和英国专家均表示感谢BHGF提供的中英医学交流机会，期望能在未来进一步加强双方的合作，开展更多的中英医学专家互访活动，促进双方在人才培养、科研教学、学科建设等方面的发展。

在访问的过程中，英国专家一行参观了三家医院的相关科室包括肝胆外科、胃肠外科、麻醉科、儿科、手术室等，了解了相关科室的业务开展、部门管理、质量管控、人才培养情况，并与中方医护同仁们进行病例讨论和手术方法探讨，带来了前沿医学知识和医疗技术信息。Dr. Krishna Kumar Singh 先生就"Patient Centered Innovations & Evolution of Minimally Invasive Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery"和"How to avoid Bile Duct injuries during Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy"，Dr. Stephen Romesh Rasanayagam 先生就"Closed Circle Anaesthesia for China 2019"和"Consent in Obstetric Anaesthesia in the UK"，Dr. Akshat Kapur先生就"The organisation of the care of critically ill children – the PICU and HDU services and how we network in the UK (includes our non-invasive ventilation experience as well)"和"The management of Asthma and the national guidelines – relationship to increasing pollution (a major problem in China)"进行了主题讲座，参访医院医护人员积极提问，与英国专家交流活跃。除此之外，三家医院已派出赴布莱顿和苏赛克斯大学医院进修医护人员优秀代表向专家汇报了3个月的学习思考与收获。

此次英国专家访问河北省三家医院的学术交流活动取得了圆满成功，并得到了中英两方医学专家们的认可和好评。BHGF也将继续发挥公益性平台的优势，搭建中国医院与国际知名医疗机构的交流合作平台，通过“送出去，请进来”的双向交流方式，在高端国际人才培养和学科建设等方面为国内医院提供帮助和支持，不断提升中国医院的管理能力和服务水平。

英国布莱顿和苏塞克斯大学医院作为一个应急教育医疗机构坐落于两个不同的区域:布赖顿地区的皇家苏塞克斯郡医院和哈沃德海斯地区的公主皇家医院。布赖顿校区包括苏塞克斯眼科医院和皇家亚历山德拉儿童医院，哈沃德海斯校区包括Hurstwood公园地区的神经科学中心。

两家医疗机构为布赖顿市和霍伍市的当地居民提供地区医院综合服务,其中在苏塞克斯郡中部和西部的东苏塞克斯地区有提供较为专业的高级病人服务和专家会诊，两家医院都为当地居民提供着许多应急医疗服务。此外,公主皇家医院是该地区选择性外科手术中心，而苏塞克斯郡皇家医院则承担着更多的应急和三级护理职责，涉及范围包括神经、动脉血管手术、新生儿、儿科学、心脏、癌症、传染病和艾滋病毒药物，创伤中心位于苏塞克斯的东南部。

UK Medical Expert Delegation Visited Three Hospitals in Hebei Province

 From May 12th to May 18th, 2019, under the support and coordination of Beijing Huatong Guokang Foundation (BHGF), Dr. Krishna Kumar Singh, Consultant Surgeon, Specialist in Upper Gastro-Intestinal & Minimally Invasive Surgery, and Clinical Director, Abdominal Surgery and Medicine, Dr. Stephen Romesh Rasanayagam, Consultant in Anaesthesia, and Dr. Akshat Suresh Kapur, Consultant Respiratory Paediatrician, visited Hebei General Hospital, Handan Central Hospital, Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University and made academic exchanges respectively.

 During the visit, Ms. Zhang Xinping, Deputy Party Secretary of Hebei General Hospital, Mr. Zhang Xueqiang, president of Handan Central Hospital, Mr. Han Dianqi and Mr. Li Shurui, Deputy Presidents of  Handan Central Hospital, Mr. Zhang Haisong, president of Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University, Mr. Cheng Shujie, Deputy President of Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University, Mr. Liu Fulin, director of Academic Research Department of Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University led their teams to introduce their hospitals to UK experts, including basic construction, personnel composition, and medical healthcare, teaching, and scientific research etc. Three hospitals and the UK experts both expressed their gratitude to BHGF for the great contribution to the Sino-British medical exchange. It is hoped that in the future, the cooperation between the two sides will be further strengthened, more personnel exchange visits will be carried out, personnel training and research teaching will be promoted, and discipline construction will be developed.

 The UK expert delegation visited the related departments including Dept. of Hepatobiliary Surgery, Dept. of Gastrointestinal Surgery, Dept. of Anesthesiology, Dept. of Pediatrics and Theatre of three hospitals in Hebei Province, learned about the business development of various departments, and discussed case analysis and surgical methods with Chinese medical colleagues, bringing frontier medical knowledge and medical technology & information. Dr. Krishna Kumar Singh, Dr. Stephen Romesh Rasanayagam and Dr. Akshat Kapur respectively held themed lectures on "Patient Centered Innovations & Evolution of Minimally Invasive Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery", "How to avoid Bile Duct injuries during Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy", "Closed Circle Anaesthesia for China 2019", "Consent in Obstetric Anaesthesia in the UK",  "The organisation of the care of critically ill children – the PICU and HDU services and how we network in the UK (includes our non-invasive ventilation experience as well)", "The management of Asthma and the national guidelines – relationship to increasing pollution (a major problem in China)". The medical staff of the three hospitals actively proposed questions to and interacted with the UK experts. In addition, three hospitals have sent medical staff to Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals in UK for training. Some outstanding representatives presented their report to the UK medical experts on their three months of learning and their harvest when they are back to China.

 The visit of the Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals experts in Hebei Province together with academic exchange activities has been a great success. It has been recognized and praised by the Chinese and UK medical colleagues. By inviting experts to visit Chinese hospitals which have sent employees abroad for receiving training from foreign experts’ working institute, it has fully strengthened the mutual understanding between the Chinese and UK medical institutions in the medical field. BHGF will continue to take advantage of the non-profit platform and build an exchange and cooperation platform between Chinese hospitals and internationally renowned medical institutions. Through a two-way communication approach of “sending out, inviting in”, it will provide domestic hospitals with high-end international personnel training and discipline construction, offering help and support to continuously improve the management capabilities and service ability of Chinese hospitals.

 Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals (BSUH) is an acute teaching hospital working across two main sites: Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath. The Brighton campus includes the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and the Sussex Eye Hospital and is also the Major Trauma Centre for the region. The Haywards Heath campus includes the Neuroscience Center in the Hurstwood Park area.

They provide district general hospital services to their local populations in and around the Brighton and Hove, Mid Sussex and the western part of East Sussex and more specialised and tertiary services for patients across Sussex and the south east of England. Both hospitals provide many of the same acute services for their local populations. In addition, the Princess Royal is the centre for elective surgery and the Royal Sussex County Hospital is the centre for emergency and tertiary care. Their specialised and tertiary services include neurosciences, arterial vascular surgery, neonatal, paediatrics, cardiac, cancer, renal, infectious diseases and HIV medicine. In addition to the two main hospitals sites they also provide services at Brighton General Hospital, Hove Polyclinic, Lewes Victoria Hospital, the Park Centre for Breast Care, and a renal dialysis satellite service in Bexhill.
