​英国专家一行访问广东省四家医院

2019年5月12日-18日，在北京华通国康公益基金会（Beijing Huatong Guokang Foundation, BHGF）的组织协调下，英国布莱顿和苏塞克斯大学医院人力资源部主任Elaine Marie Lucraft女士、重症医学专家Casiano Barrera Groba 先生、感染科专家Suneeta Soni 女士一行三人分别对中山大学附属第一医院、中山大学附属第三医院、揭阳市人民医院、汕头市中心医院进行参访并作学术交流。BHGF陈冉理事长一行对英国专家团队在广东的访问进行了陪同。

访问期间，中山大学附属第一医院金玉善院长助理、中山大学附属第三医院吴斌副院长、揭阳市人民医院林尤恩副院长、汕头市中心医院许海雄院长等分别带领医院工作团队向英国专家介绍医院基本建设、人员构成以及医疗、教学、科研等工作情况。四家医院相关领导和英国专家均表示非常感谢BHGF为中英医学交流所做出的贡献，期望在未来能进一步加强双方的合作，开展更多的中英医学专家互访活动，促进双方在人才培养、科研教学、学科建设等方面的发展。

英国专家一行参观了四家医院的相关科室，了解了各科室业务开展情况，并与中方医护同仁们进行病例讨论和手术方法探讨，给大家带来很多前沿医学知识和医疗技术信息。Elaine Marie Lucraft女士、Casiano Barrera Groba 先生、Suneeta Soni 女士分别就 “A Recruitment Strategy”“Time limit antibiotic therapy”“Antimicrobial resistance in Sexually transmitted infections” 等主题进行了讲座，参访医院医护人员积极提问，与专家互动活跃。

此次英国布莱顿和苏塞克斯大学医院专家访问广东省四家医院的学术交流活动取得了圆满成功，并得到了中英两方医护同仁的认可和好评。BHGF将继续发挥公益性平台的优势，通过“送出去，请进来”的双向交流方式，在人才培养和学科建设等方面提供帮助和支持，不断提升医院的管理能力和服务水平。

英国布莱顿和苏塞克斯大学医院作为一个应急教育医疗机构坐落于两个不同的区域:布赖顿地区的皇家苏塞克斯郡医院和哈沃德海斯地区的公主皇家医院。布赖顿校区包括苏塞克斯眼科医院和皇家亚历山德拉儿童医院，哈沃德海斯校区包括Hurstwood公园地区的神经科学中心。公主皇家医院是该地区选择性外科手术中心，苏塞克斯郡皇家医院则承担着更多的应急和三级护理职责，涉及范围包括神经、动脉血管手术、新生儿、儿科学、心脏、癌症、传染病和艾滋病毒药物，创伤中心位于苏塞克斯的东南部。医院接诊的病人每年达70万例。作为一个横跨两个地区的综合大型医疗机构, 医院因地制宜,不断发展，全心全意为病人着想，以满足病人在不同的阶段对治疗护理的不同需求。

British Medical Expert Delegation Visited Four Hospitals in Guangdong Province

 From May 12 to 18, 2019, under the coordination of the Beijing Huatong Guokang Foundation (BHGF), Ms. Elaine Marie Lucraft, Director of Human Resources Department of the Brighton and Sussex University Hospital, United Kingdom, Mr. Casiano Barrera Groba, an Intensive Care Medicine expert, and Ms. Suneeta Soni, an infectious expert, together conducted visits and academic exchanges at the First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, the Third Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, Jieyang People's Hospital and Shantou Central Hospital.The Chairman Chen Ran of BHGF accompanied British experts on their visit to Guangdong province.

 During the visit, dean assistant Jin Yushan of the First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, Vice Dean Wu Bin of the Third Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, Vice Dean Lin Youen of Jieyang People's Hospital and Dean Xu Haixiong of Shantou Central Hospital led the hospital team to introduce to British experts the hospital's capital construction, personnel composition, medical treatment, teaching and scientific research. Relevant leaders of the four hospitals and British experts expressed their gratitude to BHGF's for the great contribution to the Sino-British medical exchange. It is hoped that in the future, the cooperation between the two sides will be further strengthened, more personnel exchange visits will be carried out, personnel training and research teaching will be promoted, and discipline construction will be developed.

 The British expert delegation visited the relevant departments of four hospitals, learned about the business development of various departments, and discussed cases analysis and surgical methods with Chinese medical colleagues, bringing frontier medical knowledge and medical technology & information. Ms. Elaine Marie Lucraft, Mr. Casiano Barrera Groba and Ms. Suneeta Soni respectively held themed lectures on the topics of "A Recruitment Strategy", "Time limit antibiotic therapy", "Antimicrobial resistance in Sexually transmitted infections". The medical staff of the four hospitals actively proposed questions and interacted with the British experts. 

 The academic exchanges between experts from Brighton and Sussex University Hospital, United Kingdom and four hospitals in Guangdong Province have been a great success. It have been recognized and praised by both Chinese and British medical colleagues. BHGF will continue to take advantage of the non-profit platform . Through a two-way communication approach of “sending out, inviting in”, it will provide support for personnel training and discipline construction, and continuously improve the management capabilities and service ability of Chinese hospitals.

The Brighton and Sussex University Hospital, United Kingdom, were located in two different areas as an emergency education medical institution: the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and the Princess Royal Hospital in Haward Hayes. Brighton Campus includes Sussex Ophthalmological Hospital and Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital, and Haward Hayes Campus includes the Neuroscience Center in Hurstwood Park. Princess Royal Hospital is the selective surgical center in the region, while Sussex Royal Hospital take on more emergency and tertiary care responsibilities, covering neurology, arterial and vascular surgery, neonates, pediatrics, cardiac, cancer, infectious diseases and HIV drugs. The trauma center is located in the southeastern part of Sussex. Hospitals receive about 700,000 patients a year. As a large-scale comprehensive medical institution spanning two regions, the hospital has been continuously developing according to local conditions and considers patients wholeheartedly to meet patients’ different needs for treatment at different stages.
