英国布莱顿和苏赛克斯大学医院专家一行访问BHGF

2019年5月17日下午，英国布莱顿和苏赛克斯大学医院教育院长Varadarajan Kalidasan 先生，医疗院长、普外科主任Krishna Kumar Singh 先生，人力资源部主任Elaine Marie Lucraft女士等一行9人到访北京华通国康公益基金会（Beijing Huatong Guokang Foundation, BHGF），双方就中英医学领域交流合作进行了会谈。

BHGF医护研修项目部孙大会副部长对教育院长Varadarajan Kalidasan 先生等一行的到访表示热烈欢迎，并详细介绍了目前基金会的基本情况和开展的合作项目。Varadarajan Kalidasan 先生对于BHGF的热情接待表示感谢，并回顾了基金会和英国布莱顿和苏赛克斯大学医院的良好合作基础。双方愿意充分利用好彼此优势互补资源，继续加强中英人才培养、科研技术等方面的合作，搭建中英医学交流的公益平台。

英国布莱顿和苏塞克斯大学医院作为一个应急教育医疗机构坐落于两个不同的区域:布赖顿地区的皇家苏塞克斯郡医院和哈沃德海斯地区的公主皇家医院。布赖顿院区包括苏塞克斯眼科医院和皇家亚历山德拉儿童医院，哈沃德海斯院区包括Hurstwood公园地区的神经科学中心。医院接诊的病人每年达70万例。作为一个横跨两个地区的综合大型医疗机构, 医院因地制宜,不断发展，全心全意为病人着想，以满足病人在不同的阶段对治疗护理的不同需求。

UK Medical Expert Delegation Visited Beijing Huatong Guokang Foundation (BHGF)

On the afternoon of 17 May 2019, total 9 UK medical experts from Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals including Dr. Varadarajan Kalidasan, Director of Medical Education, Consultant Paediatric Surgeon and Urologist, Ms. Marie, Head of Human Resources Department and Dr. Krishna Kumar Singh, Consultant Surgeon, Specialist in Upper Gastro-Intestinal & Minimally Invasive Surgery, and Clinical Director, Abdominal Surgery and Medicine, visited Beijing Huatong Guokang Foundation (BHGF). The two sides held talks on Sino-British medical exchanges and cooperation.

  Ms. Sun Dahui, Vice Director of Medical Staff Training Program Department of BHGF, expressed a warm welcome to Mr. Varadarajan Kalidasan and the delegation. She gave a detailed introduction of the current situation and the projects executed by BHGF. Mr. Varadarajan Kalidasan thanked BHGF for its warm reception and reviewed the great cooperation between BHGF and Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals. The two sides are willing to make full use of each advantages to build a public welfare platform, and strengthen interactive exchange as well as cooperation on personnel training and scientific research between China and UK. 

Beijing Huatong Guokang Foundation, as a public charity organization officially approved by the government, gives full play to its resource advantages and public welfare platform, and builds a two-way communication platform of “sending out, inviting in” to provide continuous assistance for Chinese hospitals’ development and medical staff’s growth, and will actively escort the people's health.

 Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals (BSUH) is an acute teaching hospital working across two main sites: Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath. The Brighton campus includes the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and the Sussex Eye Hospital and is also the Major Trauma Centre for the region. The Haywards Heath campus includes the Neuroscience Center in the Hurstwood Park area. BSUH receives 700,000 patients a year. As a large-scale comprehensive medical institution across two main sites, the hospital has been continuously developing according to local conditions and considers patients wholeheartedly to meet patients' different needs for treatment and nursing at different stages.
